This activity is a structured practice with regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs in the preterit tense where students will write original sentences as they are being introduced to the preterit. For each infinitive (-ar, -er, and -ir), students will write 6 sentences. A structured template is provided with the infinitive and stem. Students will write the correct ending in the box provided and add 5-6 words to create an original sentence. Preterit verb endings for -ar, -er, and -ir are provided.
